David Key

David Key is a full-time mix engineer based in Jackson, TN, working with artists and producers every day to bring their songs to life with professional, larger than life mixes. He has had the honor of mixing for some of Jackson’s finest talent, including The Shoemakers, Jo$ton, Kinda Mad, Eli Parker, Almost Isaac, Joey Smith, Music by Kota, Hope Macgregor, and many more local legends.

David’s goal with every project is simple: take the artist’s vision further, using intentional, high-level mixing techniques to help songs translate and shine across every platform, from a phone speaker to the car to the arenas. A great song can succeed without a great mix, but it is far more likely to stand out when the mix is dialed in at a professional level.

When he is not in the studio, you will usually find David traveling with his wife, Haley, and their dog, or riding his dirt bike in the woods.
