Kelso Mojo
Kelso Mojo plays rock with a hint of blues, bringing their own unique “Mojo” to covers you love. They perform at festivals, weddings, private events, and venues all over West Tennessee and surrounding areas.
Lead singer Lori Jones, though newer to performing live (since 2017), has been surrounded by music her whole life. Her influences range from Pat Benatar, Fleetwood Mac, and Led Zeppelin, to Wynonna, Dixie Chicks, and Joe Bonamassa.
Lead guitarist Ken Jones began playing drums before switching to guitar in the late ’80s. His influences include Kiss, Van Halen, Joe Bonamassa, Matchbox 20, and The Winery Dogs. Ken loves performing live and sharing music with the audience.
Bassist Jason Jerrolds started playing guitar at age seven but found his passion with bass later in life. He entered the Jackson music scene in the mid-’90s and has spent over 25 years providing a solid, dynamic foundation for bands across West Tennessee.
Keyboardist David Gaines started guitar at 13, moved to bass, then expanded to keyboards. He brings experience from church and rock bands, and from teaching music and working at a music store.
Drummer Josh Wood has played drums since age six, influenced by his father’s love for the Beatles and inspired by drummers like Eric Carr, Tommy Aldridge, and Neil Peart. He has performed with bands spanning genres from rock to country.
Kelso Mojo brings their distinctive sound to stages across the region.
