AMP Mural Reveal

The Vintage Makers Music and Art Festival kicks off with the highly anticipated reveal of a new mural by artist Trinity Rivard!

This vibrant piece, inspired by nominations from the Jackson community, honors eight iconic music legends with ties to the city: Denise LaSalle, Mabel Louise “Big Maybelle” Smith, Joe Hunter, Gil Scott-Heron, Carl Perkins, Ruby Falls, Sonny Boy Williamson I, and W.S. Holland.

Guests will have the opportunity to meet the artist, hear the story behind the mural, and be among the first to snap photos with the completed work. The celebration continues with live music and a curated selection of art and vintage vendors, marking the official start of the festival and highlighting Jackson’s rich musical heritage.
