Stop 3: Legends of Tennessee Music Museum at the Carnegie
Your next stop, The Legends of Tennessee Music Museum at the Carnegie, honors music legends who called West Tennessee “home,” like Carl Perkins, Tina Turner, Sonny Boy Williamson, and W.S. Holland. Stop 5: Casey Jones Home & Railroad Museum
Once your belly is full, walk over to Casey Jones Home & Railroad Museum. Take a step back in time to 1900 to the time of Casey Jones, a locomotive engineer who went down in history as a folk hero after his heroic death in a 1900 train crash in which all passengers were saved but himself. Tour Casey Jones’ historic home, climb aboard the 35-ton Engine 382, and discover the tale about Casey’s heroic last ride.

It’s time for a good, old-fashioned afternoon treat! Miss Anne’s Ice Cream & Candy Shoppe feels like a time capsule from the 1890s. Be sure to snap a photo of the antique soda fountain, which is over 130 years old and is only one of three of its kind known to exist today!

Rusty’s TV & Movie Car Museum is a Jackson gem featuring two buildings with over 50 cars, motorcycles, props and memorabilia from iconic movies and television shows. The screen is brought to life with authentic cars used in movies and shows, as well as replicas. Some favorites include The Mystery Machine, Tow Mater, a Jurassic Park Jeep, Cousin Eddie’s RV, and the 1976 AMC Pacer from “Wayne’s World.”
